The apartments
Assigned housing, thin walls and a banner in every hallway reminding you who's in charge.
An occupied city in the years before the uprising. A serious roleplay server for Garry's Mod, built from scratch.
Work your shifts, queue for rations and keep your papers clean, or start working against the occupation one quiet favour at a time. Every system and menu is being made for this server alone.
Every new citizen comes in by train.
Assigned housing, thin walls and a banner in every hallway reminding you who's in charge.
Where new arrivals step off the train and into the city's records.
Below the streets, where the cameras don't reach. Some doors down here stay locked for a reason.
Lamps, stolen supplies and people who trust each other just enough.
Public rules and a public punishment ladder. Every staff action is logged, and appeals go to someone who wasn't involved.
Real objectives for every faction, not just the Combine. What one side does changes the city for all of them.
A city that shifts with what players do, and story arcs that actually end.
Two to three character slots, unlocked by playtime.
An in-game introduction, mentors, and a help tab that actually helps.
If a store is ever added, it sells cosmetics. Never weapons, gear or whitelist access.

No. Read the rules, make a citizen and step off the train. New players get a guided first hour.
Notes from the Resonance team. What we're building, what changed, and why.
Resonance is a serious Half-Life 2 roleplay server for Garry's Mod. This is the first entry: what we're making, and how we intend to run it.
City 24, under occupation, in the years before the uprising. The city runs on work shifts, ration cycles and curfews, and Civil Protection keeps it that way. Most people keep their heads down. Some don't. Resonance is about the people living there and the choices they make.
Resonance runs on our own framework. No off-the-shelf roleplay framework, no borrowed menus. The interface, characters, factions and tools are all designed for this server, so everything works together instead of being bolted on.
Good roleplay needs staff that players can trust. From day one:
There is no release date yet. The next entries will cover how new citizens arrive in the city and how our framework is built. Testing sign-ups will be announced on Discord first.
